Snow in March ?!?

Who would have guessed we’d have snow in March? At Dan’s homecoming in February it was sunny and pretty warm. For the last week and upcoming week we have had lots of rain, wind and cold. Last night the wind howled and blew so hard that it shook our doors and windows and set off our house alarm. It really shook us up to wake up to sirens going off. But after a few checks of the kids, house and doors we eventually were able to go back to sleep.

Yesterday we were out shopping and decided to go visit Grandma and Grandpa Forman. Although at our house we are only getting rain, they got snow! So, even though the kids weren’t dressed to play outside they joyfully made a snowman with Grandpa and sledded down the little hill in the back. For being dressed only in her beloved “Apple dress” and sweater Hope was a champ. She was non-stop smiles and giggles.
